Sleep is critical to maintaining health and quality of life; however, inadequate sleep duration and/or quality is common.
Further, clinical sleep disorders are increasingly prevalent, and are often undiagnosed and therefore untreated. It can be difficult to distinguish sleep issues that may be addressed through adjustments to lifestyle versus issues that may represent a more serious condition requiring medical intervention.
There exists a clear need for a clinically validated sleep study that can be used in the community to direct individuals toward the care for a particular sleep concern from which they may benefit.

What many people don’t realise is that sleep apnea therapy has come a long way over the past several decades. Now, there are multiple solutions that have been uniquely designed using a patient-centric approach – improving comfort, ease of use and mobility for sleep apnea patients. These updates have been made to help ensure that those living with sleep apnea stay adherent to their treatment plans.
Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) has been the gold standard of sleep therapy treatment for many years. But even with new innovations offering more freedom and comfort for CPAP users, sometimes the therapy doesn’t fit in with a patient’s lifestyle. If these patients are living with positional OSA, there is new hope for successful, sustainable treatment through the advent of positional therapy devices.
CPAP Compliance Visits: At Australian Sleep Clinic we pay attention to compliance. As a patient you should realise that we will need to ensure that you are utilising the CPAP device. We encourage a regime of periodic compliance visits to ensure you utilise your CPAP device and that it is working for you.
CPAP Trials: A CPAP trial is a two to four week trial that provides you with the chance to experience CPAP therapy. You are given a CPAP device and mask. A Sleep Scientist will monitor your sleep each week, and provide specific tailored support to help you achieve the best sleep. If you have any problems with our easy to use system, we have all the support available to you.
